What's Happening at White River

March 15 - 17  Three offspring distinguish themselves in Louisville;  Ozzy son 'Capone' Best of Winners 3/15, Dusty son 'Jake' Winners Dog 3/16, and Ozzy son 'Clay' Winners Dog 3/17.

March 9 & 10  White River does Tennessee with White River Lightning Strike, aka 'Jake' Winners on Saturday ans Best of Winners for his first MAJOR on Sunday.  Meanwhile littermate White River Striking Elegance, aka 'Ella' wins Best In Match at the GSP club of Middle Tennessee's first A Match.
 

March 3, 2013   White River has a new Grand Champion; breeder/owner handled CH White River Wizzard on Wings, JH.

February 23 & 24  More of the next generation starting to shine; White River Whisperpoint Buy Low Sell High earns his first points taking Best of Winners honors both days at the International KC Chicago shows.

February 8 & 9, 2013   The young guns are making their mark.  "Jake" aka White River Lightning Strike is Winners Dog Friday, with cousin "Capone" taking the honor on Saturday at the Indy Winter Classic Dog Shows
                              

December 2, 2012  Ozzy's Best of Breed today in Belleville, IL completes his Bronze Grand Championship!  Congratulations Becky and Kip.

November 30, 2012  Ozzy's lovely daughter from his very first litter Wannapoint's Kissed By A Star (Della), bred and owned by Mike & Lisa Stovall landed her first major win at the 2012 St Louis Sporting Dog Association show. 

November 25, 2012  Proud Daddy "Shooter" now has two Champion get.  "Teague" aka Adalwine Straight Shooter finished totally owner-handled today in Maryland.  Kudos to the Wakefield family who've done a wonderful job conditioning and presenting him.

November 3, 2012  Up North we have a new Canadian Champion today at the Red Deer District KC shows; Ziggy son Malhaven Fire On The Dance Floor (Rudy).  Congrats to co-owners Kate Dowson and Karen Ibbitson. 


October 28, 2012   Our Stud Dogs and their kids were makin' headlines today.  
Shooter daughter Adalwine Just Shoot Me (Mira) completed her Chanpionship at the KC of Riverside with back to back BOW/BOS wins.  

 
Ozzy son Old Ridge Wishing On A Star at just the tender age of 8 months wraps up his whirlwind championship run grabbing Winners Dog both days at Middleburgh KC shows.

 Ozzy, just to keep the kid humble wins Best of Breed and a Sporting  Group IIII, and granddam "Godiva" (Ziggy daughter) took Best of Opposite Sex.

July 14-15, 2012  A Big Weekend for the extended Family!  GSPC of Ohio Specialty Winners Dog:  "Clay" , Ozzie son debut in the ring, and Winners Bitch his Aunt "Lindey" - both owned by Larry and Carol Lillis.  "Dusty" takes the Best of Opposite win at the GSPC of Illinois on Saturday, and "Ozzy" becomes a BISS winning the Fort Dearborn Specialty on Sunday.

June 30, 2012  "Delafee" bred by Becky and Kip Whelan finishes her bench championship in style at the GSPC of Wisconsin Specialty show under breeder-judge Margie Serak Wilson.

April 20, 2012  Char gets to be the mystery Breeder Judge for the Top 25 Competition at the 2012 National Specialty Show.  What an honor, ans what a RUSH!!

March 18, 2012  The Dust Mites' Dad earned his Hunting Title today showing great bird-finding ability, stylish points and as a bonus a soft mouth.  Striker caught his last bird and after parading it around some to show off his prize he released it and it sailed off into the trees.

Jan 22, 2012  A CDX!!!!! for CH White River PS I Lost My Shirt (I really can't do all the titles after his name - I'll screw it up).  Huge Congratulations to Lisa and Wager for their hard work and success!  We're darn proud here.

December 20, 2011  Now she puts her money where her mouth is!  Char is granted provisional status as an AKC conformation judge of GSPs!

November 18, 2011  CH White River Shoot the Rapids, JH is a proud Daddy; 5 boys and 2 girls.  Way to shoot !

November 14, 2011  Congratulations to 'Delefee', TRF Simply Starstruck, owned by Sam and Kipp Whelan and Becky Feigh on earning her Tracking Dog title.  This is a first for a White River decendant and we are all very proud.

October 29, 2011  NOTHING happened!  Our annual Fall Foliage trip to the Mason-Dixon Specialty Show in Middleburgh, VA turned into 'Walkin' In A Winter Wonderland' as the entire weekend of shows was snowed out stranding us in Leesburg.  Great company and fun nonetheless, and I got to watch a puppy's first introduction to tracking.

September 5, 2011  Despite her determination to scorn the "foo foo" show ring, White River Splish Splash is now a Champion.  Today her breeder/owner won the test of wits and she behaved beautifully, letting the folks see she really is a well put together girl.  Best of Winners in Lexington, KY ices the championship.

September 3, 2011  A Very BIG Win for a very young man!  "Ozzy" is awarded his first Sporting Group I at the Danville KC.  Congrats Kipp, Becky and Rick!!

August 27, 2011  Hooray for Shooter (CH White River Shoot the Rapids, JH) and his devoted owner/handler, Melissa Wilde!  The team won the GSPC of Ohio Open Derby Stake today to start the boy on his quest for Dual status.

August 13, 2011  Ziggy daughter CH Star-K's Mile Hi Charlotte earns her Swedish Championship.  She is definitely not restaing on her laurels after her World Show BOB.  Follow her at www.hicharlotte.ru.

July 16 - 17, 2011  GSPC Of Illinois Specialty Ziggy son GCH Dinges' Irish Creme is Best In Specialty with grandson CH TRF White River Howlin'' At The Stars JH right behind him as Select Dog.  Brady was not done for the day, honoring his Breed and the Illinois Club by earning Sporting Group I that afternoon.  Our White River Splish Slash JH took the Best of Winners Award at the  Ft. Dearborn Specialty the same day. 

July 8 - 10, 2011  Ziggy's kids and grandkids Go Wild and Worldwide!  "Cowboy", Ruann-N-TRF From Out The Past becomes the second Champion from the Chocolate Decadence litter and backs that up with Select Dog to cousin CH Stelor's Royalty Remembered.  "Roy" swept GSPs in Fredericksburg Md, also going all the way to Sporting Group I on Friday!!  His sis "Valee" finished her CH at these shows as well racking up a third major win.  As if we didn't have enough excitement for one weekend, Ziggy daughter BIS CH Star-K's Mile Hi Charlotte was awarded Best of Breed at the World Dog Show in France!!!!

July 1 - 3, 2011  MONSTER WEEKEND for the Chocolate Decadence litter!!  TRF White River Howlin' At the Stars, JH finishes his Championship in style at the GSPC of Wisconsin specialty, then follows up with Best of Breed and Best of Opposite Sex the next two days.  Ozzy likes Dairyland.  Brother Ruann-N-TRF From Out The Past grabbed his second major in Maryland.

June 25, 2011  Champion #38 for Ziggy Stardust; Pointsetter Lawyers Guns And Money JH.

June 10, 2011  CH White River's Title Paige CDX RA NAJ JH always seems to shine at the Minnesota Specialty - this year awarded Best in Veteran Sweepstakes and Select Bitch.

April 23, 2011  "Max" owned by Krista Schroeder  and sired by Ziggy Stardust posts his personal best Fly Ball  time in Monroe Michigan capping his 4 U-FLI and 4 NAFA flyball titles.  He's the only family member competing in Fly Ball proving again that GSPs really CAN do it all!

Feb 27, 2011  As we bragged on our home page; "Wager" completed his Rally Advanced Excellent title at the Chicago International Kennel Club Show, qualifying him for the GSPC of America's Versatility Certificate Advanced

Feb 11, 2011  Caylee travels east and tops the Schuylkill Valley GSP Specialty in Secaucus,NJ; part of the Meadowlands Expo Center Specialty extravaganza held as prelude to the Westminister KC Dog Show.

Jan 8 - 9, 2011  Ziggy daughter Caylee  takes charge of the new year landing a Sporting Group I and then BEST IN SHOW at the Nolan River KC Shows in Texas.
